As a Client Manager, you will oversee sales activities within a defined territory and manage sales representatives and distributors.  You will be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.  You will have a strong customer service orientation, continuous improvement and innovation mindset, and work well with teams and associates at various levels of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Organizes sales schedules of assigned staff.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Sells the company’s products/services in an assigned territory.
  • Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account.
  • Works to establish new accounts in the territory.
  • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Senior Vice President of Sales.
  • Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.

Job Description
The role of Cyber & Information Security Consultant will report directly to the Vice President, Cyber Threat and Compliance Services.

The Cyber & Information Security Consultant will provide risk and compliance services that follow defined standards/methodologies and utilize specialized security tools and software. You will work directly with clients to perform information security reviews/analysis as well as other services such as risk assessments, vulnerability/patch management scanning, social engineering exercises, and information security training. It is imperative that this person takes great pride in his or her work, always focused on developing capabilities and educating clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities
The Cyber & Information Security Consultant candidates will be evaluated based on their ability to perform the duties listed above while demonstrating the skills and competencies necessary to be highly effective in the role. These skills and competencies include:

  • Evaluates networks and systems for security and efficiency.
  • Performs focused information risk assessments of existing or new services and technologies, along with business counterparts.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
  • Provides consultative advice to information governance or security teams that enables them to suggest informed risk management decisions.
  • Assesses client policies and procedures for compliance with regulatory guidance and industry standards.
  • Stays abreast of information security, cybersecurity, regulatory, and other trends as they relate to our client base.
  • Produces reports detailing the findings of the services‐rendered and associated recommendations to help the client meet information security and compliance standards.
  • Works within a team of consultants to continuously improve and update services to ensure they stay ahead of information security and compliance trends.
  • Assists in mentoring and training of new team members.
  • Participates in the development of methods, documentation, applications, and/or services that are offered/utilized by the team.
  • May conduct engagements, independent of oversight, that are more complex and/or require specialized requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Education, Training and Previous Experience
Candidates will be evaluated primarily on their ability to demonstrate the competencies required to be successful in the role, as described above. For reference, the typical work experience and educational background of candidates in this role are as follows:

  • Education or job knowledge equivalent to a 4‐year college undergraduate degree in a technical/security-related field.
  • The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least three (3) years in a technical, compliance, audit, or risk management-related role.
  • 2+ years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [IS0] 27000, COBIT, National Institute of Standards and Technology [NIST] 800)

Desired, but not required:

  • Familiarity with vulnerability and/or patch-scanning software is preferred.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to identify and assess the severity and potential impact of risks. Communicate risk assessment findings to risk owners outside the cybersecurity program in a way that consistently drives objective, fact-based decisions about risk that optimize the trade-off between risk mitigation and business performance.
  • An understanding of organizational mission, values, goals, and consistent application of this knowledge.
  • An ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and outside one’s network within an organization.
  • An ability to apply original and innovative thinking to produce new ideas.
  • An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.
  • An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans or behaviors.
  • Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.
